Cele 2 sunt apogeul tehnologiei stereo din anii 80 al producătorului Victor/JVC, prin divizia sa high-end de atunci Victor Laboratory care rivaliza cu Luxman și Accuphase. Sună absolut extraordinar împreună, testate atât pe boxe vintage (Victor SC-900, Victor SX-10 cât și pe boxe moderne KEF, JBL S-3900)

Pre-ul este unul foarte complex, are 2 intrări PHONO cu 3 reglaje de impedanță și 3 de capacitanta plus 2 reglaje pentru dozele MC low voltage și normal voltage.

Cele 2 au costat 600.000 yeni + taxe, un preț extrem de ridicat la acea vreme, spre comparație,
Setul este la 100V și se vinde cu transformator 230-100V de min 1000VA.
